If you’re in Colorado, there are lots of exciting places you can go to. However, Denver is probably closest to the most exciting of them, and you can access many of them easily from the big city. Since the Denver metropolitan area is so large and sometimes noisy, it can be a true blessing to take a day trip every now and then and explore the surroundings while getting some well-earned peace of mind. One of the first places you can visit is Dinosaur Ridge. This is a well-known natural landmark located in the Rockies at about 23 miles away from Denver. Fans of dinosaurs can find guidebooks for self-guided and guided tours that will reveal the exciting story of the dinosaur footprints and bones discovered in the area.
