Importance of Getting Outside During the Work Day
According to Christian therapist Denver specialists, we need our work breaks!!!! We need them to soothe our
thoughts, to distance ourselves from all the problems at work in order to see
them from another perspective. We need our
breaks to have the chance to eat healthy. Breaks are also a restart that
we need during a working day to be effective and stay motivated.
Unfortunately, many work breaks happen around the coffee
machine, next to the other colleagues, talking about the same problems at work.
What should you actually do?
Get out. When you work in an office, you are caught in that
building almost all day. Lunch breaks are your chance to escape. Go out in the
sun, watch the rain or feel the wind. Breathe fresh air and have a quiet lunch.
Dream with your eyes open. During lunch breaks, you can get
rid of stress b allowing you to dream of something beautiful. Go on a bench in the
park and relax. For a few minutes, you can imagine that you are somewhere else.
The time spent away from your work will get you back on track
and improve your efficiency.
Failure to respect your breaks will generate tired and
nervous employees who will get ill more often or prefer healthier work
environments.
