Mindful Ways To Celebrate The Fourth Of July
The 4th of July is celebrated to mark Americans` independence from the British Empire. For most people, is also an excuse to have a lot of fun and celebrate with barbecues, parades and, of course, explosive fireworks and other potentially dangerous things. And when we say dangerous, we do not mean just for us, but also for the environment and wildlife.
We can do a lot of harm while not being aware of it, so maybe we should think about some mindful ways to celebrate. Take advice from a qualified Christian counselor Denver area and spend quality time alone with your spouse, as a way to celebrate this year.
First, we should remain alert on the 4th of July. Wildlife and pets may flee, being scared by the shock of fire and end up in unexpected places. Keep an eye on them, avoid them on the roads and help them if you can. Fireworks may also start wildfires, which are disasters, killing animals and destroying their habitats.
If you have a party yourself, with your friends or family, make sure you dispose safely bottles, plastic recipients and litter from firecrackers. Besides being pollutant and toxic, they might also be ingested by animals.
Try to be as eco-friendly as you can. Use bio degradable recipients, plates and cups. Give up on using plastic.
Check the federal law requirements about how close you can be from a protected habitat when you celebrate the 4th of July, because violations can come with fines and other stiff penalties.
